We often get asked where we come up with some of these names. In this case it was easy. Della Terra is Italian for “From the Earth.” What more do we need to say? It’s the perfect description for this wonderful style. Each piece is hand fitted with a very high end tightly woven fabric wrap, in either black or white. Each frame is handcrafted in and imported from Italy, and are sourced from sustainable forestry programs. All you have to do is pick which frame and linen works best for you. Well, lets see…any guesses on how many years it took for me to get this image just right?
Years ago I was fortunate enough to survive the grueling drive out to this absolutely stunning location in the remote tiny mountain town of Crystal Colorado. You can see that image here “Crystal Clear”. On that trip I literally bent the front drive shaft of my 4x4 truck and had to remove it to continue driving. I truly did. Oh and ripped three tires to shreds. I only limped out the first time because of the extra spares I had with me. Otherwise, who knows, I might still be there.
Over the years the road has not improved. If you’re in need of a kidney transplant you may want to postpone going out here, because the drive is brutal. That being said…it might be worth it.
I’ll leave it up to you to decide.
