Havasu ‘Baaja

Havasupai Indian Reservation
Arizona, USA

My daughter Rebecca, ‘Becca’ for short, and I were on our long awaited Daddy/Daughter trip and we’d made our way to the little village of Supai within the Grand Canyon in Arizona.  What a place…we had a fantastic time.

Upon our return I asked Becca if she thought the colors looked right in this final image.  “The color was more intense that that!”, she said.  I explained to her that I thought the color was dead on.  “Besides”, I explained to her, “people are going to have a hard time believing these colors!”  She recounted about how beautiful it was, and she’s right, it was.

Havasu ‘Baaja (pronounced – “Havasu by”) translated means: People of the blue green waters.

See Ya On the Trail!
