Pale Moon Rising

Golden Gate National Recreation Area
California, USA

A very good friend was coming by the gallery to help me “redecorate” a bit by putting up a couple of walls. “Clint, I’ll be there by 6am, I promise!” We were going to try and get it all done before the start of business that day. That was before I rounded the corner on my way into San Francisco and saw the crescent moon, the fog beneath the Golden Gate and the wonderful pre dawn light on the city. Up the Marin Headlands I went. Yanked my backpack, with camera inside, out of the truck, stepped up to the cliffs edge composed the shot, snapped the shutter a couple of times, repacked the camera and walked back over to the truck. And that’s when I realized I’d locked the keys inside. Needless to say I didn’t make it in by 6am like I’d promised Clint.

Thank heaven for cell phones.

See Ya On the Trail!
