Breathless

Mono Lake

The sky seemed like it was on fire, the water glowed and the rocks seemed sharper and more lively than ever before. The colors were spread across the landscape with a generous hand. I’ve been to Mono Lake many times, and never been disappointed, but in all those trips, it was never quite this fantastic.

There are some rare moments in life, some special scenes, that still your heart and take your breath away. This sunset left me breathless, and it wasn’t because I rushed to get to the shoreline in time.
